Never miss the knock
The Receptionist.
The front door of the house.
Your phone answered every time it rings, day or night, on the number you already have. The details taken. The job booked into your diary. The customer texted a confirmation. When a call needs a person, it is put through to one.
Live. Answering a real Glasgow number today.
Pick your trade
Hear it handled. See what reaches you.
Twelve example businesses, one for each trade, each with its own receptionist. None of them is real. Every one of them is built the same way, around the trade and the way that trade works.
What lands with you
A short scripted example for each trade. The real thing takes a whole conversation, asks your questions in your order, and never invents a price or a yes.
One call, start to finish
What happens when your phone rings
Nothing changes for the caller. Everything changes for you.
- 1
Call
Your number rings the way it always did. A divert sends it on. The caller notices nothing new.
- 2
Answer
Picked up in your business’s name. First ring, any hour, never engaged. Every greeting says the call is recorded, so you are covered.
- 3
Understand
Works out what the caller actually needs, even when they are not sure themselves. Asks the questions you would ask, in the order you would ask them.
- 4
Act
Books the job into your real diary, takes the details for a call back, or gives a cold caller a polite no. A call that needs a person is put through to one.
- 5
Update
The booking lands in your diary. The details land with you in writing, within seconds. Every caller, every time.
The call you just watched
On paper before they have hung up
This is what reaches you after every call. No voicemail to listen back through. No “someone rang earlier”. The callers you would have missed become a list you can act on.
Example note
Linked to your calendar
Straight into the diary you already keep
Your receptionist does not keep a list of appointments somewhere you will never look. It reads and writes your real diary. It only offers times that are actually free, it cannot double-book, and what it books is on your phone before the caller has hung up.
Jamie’s half three, in the diary before the call ended. If you take that slot yourself first, the receptionist sees it go and never offers it.
What you get
- Answered 24 hours a day on the number you already have. A divert, not a new number.
- Appointments booked, moved and cancelled in your real diary.
- A confirmation text to the customer when a booking is made.
- Name, number and what they wanted, read back to the caller and sent to you in writing within seconds.
- The postcode and house number for a visit. The registration for a garage.
- Put through to you only when the call needs a person, and only in the hours you set. Otherwise a message.
- Your prices only, as you publish them. Never a guess.
- Your emergencies handled your way. A smell of gas goes to the gas emergency line first. A fire goes to 999.
- WhatsApp messages answered the same way. Ours does today. Ask us about yours.
- A recording notice in every greeting.
What it will not do
- Invent a price or a yes. If it does not know, it says so and takes a message.
- Make a sales call. It answers. It does not ring people up.
- Take down what it should not. A clinic’s receptionist records nothing medical.
- Pretend to be a person. Ask if it is a robot and it says so straight away.
How it gets set up
About a week, and twenty minutes of your time
- 1
Intake
Twenty minutes with you. Your services, your hours, your prices, and how you like a call handled.
- 2
The facts sheet
We write up your business. You approve every line, so the receptionist never makes things up about your work.
- 3
Diary and number
Your diary is connected. Your number is diverted. Nothing you use changes.
- 4
Sixteen awkward callers
Scripted, before a real one gets through. The angry one, the vague one, the one who wants a price you do not give. We fix what they find.
- 5
Live
Then we keep listening. Every fault found is logged and fixed, and you can see the list.
Why us
Not a chatbot with a phone number.
Plenty of companies will sell you voice software and wish you luck. We sell a receptionist with two people behind it who never stop paying attention.
We build your receptionist.
We teach it your business.
We plug it into your diary.
We listen to the calls.
We keep making it better.
We answer to you.
You run the business. Your receptionist runs the phone.
Two real people, not a platform.
We’re Anthony and Bobby. We build and mind every receptionist ourselves, from Glasgow, and you get our mobile numbers. If something’s not right, you tell one of us and it gets sorted.

Try it before you ask us anything.
Anna answers our own phone, so what you hear on this site is what your customers would get. Ring her from your browser, or leave your details and one of us will call you back.
