The Idea Board.
The snug of the house.
A place to keep the ideas for growing the business, so they stop getting lost on the van dashboard. Type it, or photograph the back of the envelope. It lands on a board with a status, and it stays there until it is done or dropped.

How it works

The hard part of an idea is not having it. It is finding it again in March.

Now and again we look at it with you, and say which ideas the other rooms in the house could do something with.
The one we use.
What exists today is our own board. Bobby uses it to send Anthony ideas, sometimes as a photo of whatever was to hand. The form, the photo upload and the board with statuses all work.
Yours.
Nothing has been built for a client yet. Yours would be the same board with your name on it, and we would build it with the first business that wants one.
One lesson from ours already goes into yours. A board that has to be updated by hand goes stale, so yours will read straight from what you send it.
Why it matters
Ideas are cheap. Losing them is not.
Every tradesman we have met has a plan for the business. Most of them are on a receipt somewhere.
