The ones who know you

Reminders.

The back door of the house.

A text before the appointment, so fewer people forget. And, on the plan, a text when the annual service or the gutter clear comes round, so old customers come back through the back door.

Reminders built. Win-back on the plan.

The reminder, example wording

Hi Jamie, a reminder of your appointment with Craigend Roofing on Thursday at 3:30pm. Reply here if you need to change it. Reply STOP to opt out.

Signed by your business, sent ahead of the appointment, only for bookings your receptionist made.

Built, switched on per business

Before the job.

Every booking your receptionist makes can get a reminder text, signed by your business. It is built, tested and deployed, and it is off until you say.

A reply comes to you. A STOP is honoured.

On the plan

When the year comes round.

The annual service, the boiler check, the gutters before winter. The plan is written. The hard part is not the text. It is permission.

A text to an old customer is only allowed when they agreed to hear from you when you first took their details. A booking system with a marketing tick box passes. A spreadsheet of numbers does not. So this one starts with your list and a straight answer about which names can be texted at all. One text, in your name, from its own number, never the receptionist’s. Nothing sends until you have signed off the list.

How win-back would work

Only to people who said yes.

This is the order it would run in, when it runs.

  1. 1

    Your list

Where the names came from, and what they agreed to.

  2. 2

    The clean

Anyone over two years old comes off. Anyone who never agreed comes off. You see the list before and after.

  3. 3

    Your sign-off

Nothing sends until you have read the list and the text.

  4. 4

    One text

In your name, from its own number, on a weekday or a Saturday, between ten and seven.

  5. 5

    Replies come to you

STOP is honoured. Nobody is texted twice.

Why it matters

Old customers. Back again.

The cheapest job to win is the one for a customer who already knows your work.

A reminder before the job.

A nudge when the year comes round.

Only to people who said yes.

The customers who know you, reminded that they do.

Two real people, not a platform.

We’re Anthony and Bobby. We build and mind every receptionist ourselves, from Glasgow, and you get our mobile numbers. If something’s not right, you tell one of us and it gets sorted.

Start with the reminders

Fewer no-shows, from next week.

Reminders can be on for your bookings straight away. Win-back starts with a conversation about your list.
